Liz Kelly
Executive Director
Liz joined the Music for Seniors team in July 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience in Nonprofit Fundraising and Executive Management.
"I am supremely blessed to bring my professional experience and personal passion for music to support and grow the incredible work of Music for Seniors. Throughout my life I've seen firsthand how music brings joy, helps calm agitation, and stimulates memories for older adults and those who are dealing with neurological disorders like Alzheimers and dementia, and I am excited to see our impact grow!"
Matt Bridges
Program Director, Middle and East Tennessee
Matt oversees our Outreach, Concert Series and Learning Labs while managing the recruitment, onboarding and scheduling with the organizations Musician Partners and Community Partners. Matt is also involved in the overall marketing of Music for Seniors including social media accounts.
Natalie Thomas
Director of Development and Community Engagement
Natalie Thomas serves as the Development and Community Engagement Director, overseeing the building of partnerships, donor engagement, special events, community outreach programs, intergenerational music-making and fund development in coordination and support of the Executive Director and Program Director.
Sarah Martin McConnell
Founder (Emerita)
Sarah founded Music for Seniors in July, 2007. Under her leadership, her original concept – to enlist area musicians for live music outreach to older adults – has grown into a thriving 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1974. She earned a Master of Science, Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee, Nashville, in 1999.
