SUMMARY:Ivory Joe and The Howlers - Nashville from 10:30am-11:30am
DESCRIPTION:Ivory Joe & the Howlers will set the stage\, keep it jumpin’\, for an upbeat program. At the heart of it all is Joe Turley himself-with plenty of charisma and musical magic. He’s got that ‘mojo thang\,’ and he knows how to keep a crowd smiling\, dancing and singing along. \nExpect to hear familiar favorites like Basin Street Blues\, Bill Bailey\, and Blue Moon\, alongside swingin’ tunes from legends like Benny Goodman\, Fats Domino’s Blueberry Hill\, Ray Charles’ sultry Fever\, and the heartfelt Georgia On My Mind. \nWith Joe leading the charge\, every song comes alive\, delivering a performance you won’t forget! \nOn behalf of Music for Seniors’ Free Daytime Concert Series\, we’re grateful for our venue host this month Cheekwood and partnering support from the Nashville Musicians Association\, National Endowment for the Arts and Tennessee Arts Commission! \n**PLEASE NOTE FOR THIS VENUE**All vehicles larger that a car or SUV\, including the minibuses that many of the communities bring\, must enter Cheekwood through our back gate\, which is located at 111 Cheek Road. \nWe hope you’ll join us for this exciting event as part of Music for Seniors FREE Daytime Concert Series!
