SUMMARY:Matt Davich's Big Band - Nashville from 10:30-11:30am
DESCRIPTION:Get Your Tickets Here!\nAnd now\, let’s welcome our artist this month\, Matt Davich’s Big Band! \nCome listen to some Big Band music with Mr. Davich’s 13 piece band\, then enjoy the beautiful gardens of Cheekwood! \nBig band music originated during the early 1910s and dominated jazz in the early 1940s when swing was most popular. \nBig bands started as accompaniment for dancing. In contrast to the typical jazz emphasis on improvisation\, big bands relied on written compositions and arrangements. \nOn behalf of Music for Seniors Frank Dycus Legacy FREE Daytime Concert Series\, we’re grateful for our venue host this month Cheekwood and partnering support from the Nashville Musician’s Association and Tennessee Arts Commission! \n**PLEASE NOTE FOR THIS VENUE**  All vehicles larger than a car or SUV\, including the minibuses that many of the communities bring\, must enter Cheekwood through the back gate\, which is located at 111 Cheek Road. \nWe hope you’ll join us for this exciting event as part of Music for Seniors Frank Dycus Legacy FREE Daytime Concert Series! \nFor groups of 4 or more please contact Natalie Thomas at natalie@musicforseniors.org
